SUCH a slacker

Gawd...! How long has it been between these danged posts? Blogging is just too ... well, too... I don't know. I just don't seem to get AROUND to it! And now my friend Swell has gotten me in Facebook but I just can't work it out. It's exhausting looking at all those little icons & trying to navigate oneself around the site. Also, I wanted to create a magnificent alter ego for myself, straight out of the Tatler social pages but silly old Facebook would not let me use my highly esteemable title of "Lady Iona of Lochaber", which I thought sounded perfectly fitting for myself! Bah humbug to ridiculous technology! Speaking of which, this Mac I am using at home is completely hopeless for editing this blog. It's a total D.U.D. Give me a pencil & paper any old day. What happened to good, old fashioned snail mail? I am looking forward to next week's annual Christmas Card outpouring though I suppose by the end of the week I will be singing the praises of electronic mail - hallelujah!
My big running news - because I know you've all been dying to hear it - is that I ran 14kms on Sunday & I have no idea how the hell I did it! Of course, two days down the track & I am still feeling the pain of it all. However, it is whetting my appetite for my first Half Marathon :o)
I have thought of lots of things I've wanted to blog about but by the time I get to the computer, and the thought of the dodgy editing facilities here, I lose interest. I have the attention span of a goldfish, I agree. The primary problem, of course, is that I still haven't worked out how to use iPhoto to make my photos smaller & place them in albums etc. I know, I know! No excuses will work. Sorry folks.. In fact, even now, after going running at 5.30am today, all I want to do now is veg out. I am having difficulty mustering enthusiasm. How tragic! Will try again in the morning. Cheerio lieblings! xxxx
