These incredible photos are so magnificent (to me) that I wanted to keep them for posterity and show them off to others. They are a selection from a group of retiring Sydney Morning Herald photographers. Aren't they wonderful? The pelican is by Peter Morris. The lizard is by Rick Stevens and the ballerinas is by Bob Pearce. Such beautiful and evocative images are what make me able to semi-tolerate all the horrible news. Let's hope the Herald is not planning to rely on crappy mobile phone pics from now on :o(
